Draw a warm bath and pour two cups of apple-cider vinegar into your bath. Vinegar works to restore pH balance and helps starve the yeast. Don’t soak your body in the bathtub longer than you usually do. If you prefer, a douche of 3 tbs. cider vinegar per quart of warm water will suffice.
Eat more garlic and natural yogurts. When relieving the symptoms, or preventing the symptoms, of a yeast infection is necessary, garlic is great tool. Rather than eating mass amounts of garlic, consider locating the garlic-based capsules along the isles of your nearby pharmacy. Sugar-free yogurt can go a long way in reducing the symptoms of an infection.
Cotton panties stop yeast infections better than any other fiber. Clothing made of synthetic fibers hold moisture and create the type of wet environments that yeast thrive in. Wear 100 percent cotton undergarments, and change them immediately following any type of physical exertion. This can keep you not only dry, but healthy, too.
A warm and moist environment will provide the ideal conditions for yeast to thrive. If you wear a wet bathing costume, this is a perfect opportunity for the yeast to thrive. Change into dry clothes immediately after getting out of the ocean or pool.
